The End of Fall Soccer

Before heading to Stillwater to stay at John's parents for a night, we celebrated Logan's last soccer game!

He has become quite the little player...we've been working on sportsmanship and being a team player.  Its interesting how quickly kids pick up on wanting to be the one who scores the goal, bumming when the other team scores, and other attitudes in sports.

John and I consider ourselves overly diplomatic when it comes to sports - even watching any team on television.  We cheer for everyone and don't have too much loyalty to any team or sport.  So, its interesting when Logan started to pick up on some of the rivalry, competitive aspect of sport.

Logan and his buddy Jack were quite the duo on this team!

Bennett liked to cheer Logan and Jack on...I'm interested to see if he is eager to play when its his turn.  :)

In the last couple games, the girls on the team have learned to really kick the ball!  Today they even ran after it and almost scored a few goals.  So.Cute.  The coaches worked with the boys to have them pass the ball to the girls and give them a chance to score.

Logan was a little chatty on the field sometimes.  :)

Both Jack and Logan ended the season with their own breakaway goals!

Jack scores!

Logan scores!

And that was the end of the game...and the end of the fall season.  We look forward to playing on the same team this spring!
