Its been a busy few weeks here...John finished up his quarter and the very next day, he tore the vanity out of our main floor powder room. We've been ready for a facelift in there and felt like it was time. We sold the vanity for a great price and offset the rest of the costs.
Eden looked in and said, "Dad! Messy!"
The boys had a blast sledding at Seven Bumps for an afternoon with John. They had the hill to themselves most of the afternoon and John couldn't believe how much stamina the boys had to keep climbing all the way to the top! Maybe we should invest in some helmets...
Eden sometimes is an early riser with me. Can't get over that "cheese" face!
New vanity installed, walls painted dark blue...more plans for the room including a pallet wall/plank wall.
Zippy the Elf is back this year, he always comes on December 1. He has been creative this year, finding some new hiding spaces around the house. The kids of course have a great time finding Zippy every morning and Bennett has a particularly great eye for spotting him. On this night, Benny had a tough night and Zippy must have noticed because he made up a special cookie and left a note for Benny the next morning.
It was a bit of a mess, but Zippy usually gets a pass for making messes :)
