Mommy's Little Shopper

Bennett has been riding like a big boy in the shopping cart since we switched him into his big car seat two weeks ago.  He loves it!  Its like a whole new world where he gets to observe so much going on around him.  I remember that same feeling when Logan started riding in the cart.  Although, its a little tricky with two kids riding in the cart...not much room for groceries!  The day I snapped these photos with my phone, Logan was at school, so Bennett got to ride solo and flirt with all the noon shoppers.  :)

This day, Bennett was obsessed with this little plastic egg from the play food at home.  Not sure why it was so interesting, but it kept him happy!  Having fun in the cart!

That same day, we got to preschool early to drop Logan off and noticed the Xcel Energy trucks working on the power lines in the church parking lot.  I asked Logan if he wanted to go look at the trucks, since we had plenty of time.  Of course, he was excited to see the bucket trucks and the big tires.  As soon as the workers saw us coming over, one of them jumped out of the truck and walked over.  He told us all about one of their fancy new trucks, how the bucket works, and even offered Logan a seat inside to check it out.  Logan was too apprehensive to get in the truck, but he loved looking.  The man even gave Logan a special little magnet that lights up...he was thrilled!
