Eden's 1 Week Check-up

The boys got to play with our friend, Katie, while John and I took Eden to her one week check up.  She's just 6 days old, but since she lost so much weight in the hospital (a full 8%), they wanted to see her back right away to make sure she's gaining enough.

Well, lo and behold, this little (big) lady gained a whopping 5 ounces over the weekend!  Phew!  At discharge, she was 9lbs 8 oz and this morning she weighed in a 9 lbs 13 oz.  I guess we can dismiss any worry about her gaining weight!  No problems there!

 Eden is in the 90th percentile for both weight (9 lbs 13 oz) and height (22 in).

She checked out great and we had a couple questions answered, so we're all set!

First little outing...

Bennett's Two Year Stats

Bennett's two year appointment was pretty uneventful - thankfully!  He passed all his screening and seems to be right on track with development.  Bennett often seems behind when we think of his speech, but Dr. Gilmartin reminded us that we compare him to Logan who was super quick at speech development.  We were happy to see Bennett is right on par!


Bennett weighs 27 lbs 5 oz (40th percentile) and is 34 3/4 inches tall (57th percentile).  He's a pretty skinny, lanky kid so far!  His head, of course, is in the 98th percentile!

Leading up to Bennett's appointment, he developed a rash (the day of his birthday party) - possibly a reaction to his first doses of antibiotics.  We were happy to see that rash quickly disappear and not return.  However, just a couple days after his 2 year check, he developed a new rash.

So, I called in to the pediatrician and we figured this was another antibiotic reaction.  We discontinued his antibiotic then, since his ear got a clean bill of health at his two year check.  We had a lot of doctor visits for Bennett...we started his second year with a bang - hope we're all done for this year!

Spunky Benny - 23 Months

Here we are: almost all the way through Bennett's 23 month!  This weekend he will turn TWO!  We can tell Bennett is becoming a big boy:

He is saying more words, phrases and sentences everyday.  Some of his favorites are: "Stop it!", "I don't want to!", "I did it myself!",

He is becoming very independent.  Bennett likes to do most things by himself - especially when he sees his big brother master a task!  Along with his gaining independence comes a stubborn boy with a quick temper!  We are still learning how to help Bennett express himself and keep calm before "the point of no return"!  As you can see in this photo, he has a lovely fashion sense!  He was determined to wear this to church last Sunday.  I was a little scared...not willing to "rock the boat" when the morning was going well, I actually considered letting him wear this to church.  Yikes...luckily, he willingly put on some different pants before we left.  Whew!

On the other side of Bennett's temper is a sweet boy who loves to cuddle.  He is so snuggly when he wants some love.  We cherish those sweet moments with Bennett!  He and Logan also love each other so much and love to spend time playing trains, cars, airplanes, and running around together.  Now that its summer, they love to play in the sand and water together!  Its going to be a great season for us!  Bennett is getting big, so he isn't easily pushed around by Logan anymore...he will push back!  The boys are now truly becoming brothers, not just siblings that coexist anymore.

Everyday with Bennett is a joy!  He is a blessing to our family and our lives.  Can't believe he is now two...I'm hoping that "terrible" won't be attached to this year (I'm banking on already being there!).

New BIKE!

Last weekend was quiet.  It was our first official weekend "on the job" at Jacob's Well.  John was off Friday and Saturday so we took advantage of no interruptions and spent lots of good time together.  On Saturday, we ventured down to Eau Claire Bike & Sport - a local bike shop to get a new bike helmet for Logan.

When the weather started to get nice enough this year, we pulled out the bikes, trikes, etc and noticed that Logan is waaaaaay to big for any of them.  He is also too big for his helmet.  So, Bennett has gained ownership of the old helmet and all the bikes/trikes.  We knew Logan would need a new bike, but we were set on just picking out a helmet.  Well, he found a super cool helmet...

and, you guessed it....a SUPER cool bike!

It was right by the door when we walked in and Logan immediately said, "My new bike!"  John couldn't resist.  We bought the bike, but in a different color, so it had to be put together.  We couldn't pick it up until Monday, so all weekend Logan carried around a picture we printed off the internet of his new BIKE!

On Monday, John left work early enough to take Logan downtown and pick up the shiny new bike.  They even stopped for ice cream and a little inaugural ride.  How fun!  When they got home, they rang the doorbell and there was Logan, with the BIGGEST smile on his face - so excited to have his new bike!

For now, Bennett seems to be sticking to his favorite outdoor activities: hockey and shoveling.

Mommy-Logan-Days

Last week while John was gone, I had the rare chance to spend a couple days alone with Logan.  My parents offered to have Bennett for two nights so Logan and I could be in Eau Claire for preschool, soccer, and playdates.  It was extra helpful because both boys like to challenge me a little too much these days.  Logan and I rarely have such undivided time together anymore.  Usually, he is off to do "big boy adventures" with Daddy while Bennett stays home with me; he can stay out in the cold longer than Bennett; he now patiently puts up with me putting Bennett down for naps changing diapers, etc.  Having the time together when all I had to think about playing with Logan and spending great time with him was a special treat.

We did preschool, friends, playdates, dinner with friends, the children's museum, soccer, the moose cafe - lots of fun stuff!  It was actually kinda tiring.  About halfway through the second day, I had an unexpected reaction from Logan:

Logan suited up with  his jacket, hat, and shoes.
Logan: "I wanna go save Bennett".
Me: "What?"
Logan: "Mommy, I wanna go rescue Bennett and bring him home".
Me: "Logan, Bennett is at Nana's house and he is having fun.  We get to spend time together...its so special!"
Logan: crying, sobbing, screaming.  "I miss Benny!"

We then called Nana to check on Bennett and learned he was having a great time.  Once I convinced Logan that we were leaving the next day after school to "rescue Benny", he was satisfied.  I mean, come on, what am I??  Chopped liver?!!  The reaction was surprising to me, but I remember other times when Logan is so protective of Bennett (even at the grandparents' houses).  Its really sweet that he missed him so much.  They have been playing really well together!

Bennett - 20 months

Can you believe Bennett is 20 months?!  He is still our "baby", but he sure is getting BIG!  We enjoy learning more and more about Bennett as he grows.  He is quite different than his big brother - just making sure we know he is his own person, I guess.

Bennett runs everywhere.  And not your typical run, but a sort of "trot", we like to call it!  This boy runs with style and it often results in a good tumble.  He is constantly keeping up with Logan, so he has to be fast!  Bennett also has some crazy dance moves that I will attribute to Logan.  They love to dance, shake, and shimmy.  It always gives us a good smile!

Recently, Bennett has started saying many more words and phrases!  Thank goodness!  He is not as verbal as Logan was and its been hard at times to communicate with Bennett.  He throws a good tantrum when he doesn't get what he wants, but his verbal skills seem to be helping with that.  I've also noticed that routine is extremely important for Bennett.  Logan was more adaptable, but Bennett needs the routine (as most kids do) to feel secure, happy, and safe.

Some of my favorite phrases from Bennett right now are:
"Help please" - he says this for everything: trying to reach something, needing a new diaper, wanting his socks off, dropping something...you name it.  Its so cute to hear his little voice say "help please...."
"Uh-oh, spill" - he likes to tell us when he spills something.  Logan also likes to tell us when Bennett spills (can you say, "tattle tale"?!)
"Wuv-ooo" - Bennett loves to give big hugs, wet kisses and say, "I love you".
"I want it!" - I hear this MANY times a day...often when I refuse something to B.
"NO" - Bennett says NO to everything.  Even when the answer is "yes", he will first say, "No".
"-mon" - "Come on"
"show you" - I'll show you.

Another big milestone is Bennett sleeping in his big boy bed!  He started tucking himself in with Logan in his big bed after bedtime stories, so we knew he was interested.  We realized we had put Logan in his big boy bed at 18 months and we decided to try to same for Bennett.  We weren't sure how Bennett would do, but he actually sleeps better than in his crib.  We still have the crib up, but mostly use it for "time-outs" now.  It makes his big boy bed and even bigger privilege.  So far, so good with the bed.

Bennett loves to play whatever Logan plays.  They play trains and cars together.  Bennett also loves to play ball.  He throws and kicks really well and can keep himself busy for a loooong time with a ball!  He doesn't really love the snow yet, but I'm sure that will come.

Bennett is a special boy - getting so big and strong!  We love you, B!

Logan - Three and a Half

Logan is quickly coming up on three and a half.  Pinch me.  I can't believe his next birthday will make him four.  In fact, he has already started telling people that "this year he will be four".  When he was born, I remember holding him and thinking preschool, potty training, and writing his name were lightyears away.  And now, here we are!

Logan likes to have things orderly - like these magnets on the fridge.  Who does he take after?? (Hint: not me!)  He also likes to cheese it up for the camera these days!

Logan continues to be such a good natured and sweet boy.  He has really taken to being the big brother, the protector, the helper.  We have tried not to force him into those roles but it has been really interesting to see him take some responsibility over Bennett - helping and protecting him.  Bennett clearly wants to be just like Logan.  They love to play together and I've been seeing more time where they love to entertain each other.

School is one of Logan's favorite things.  He can't wait to go on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  He loves his friends from school and all his teachers.  We are lucky to have Logan at Noah's Ark - it really is a special place.  We've really seen Logan open up this year and start trying more new things at school.  He started the year as more of an observer, but has quickly become more adventurous and outgoing.  His teachers from Camp Come & Play last year said he has really grown a lot!

Re-enacting one of the favorite books du jour: "Ten in the Bed".

Logan favorite things are cars, trains, and books.  He likes his fair share of videos when we let him watch, too.  He has started to know many books by heart and will read them to us and Bennett.  Its so cute to hear his expression when he reads and tells a story.  He has a wild imagination and is constantly making up stories about his family and our adventures.  Sometimes I wonder what stories other people might hear about us!

Logan loves to sing and dance - we find a lot of joy in hearing him sing song from school and dancing around the house.  He reminds us quickly of how great it is to be a child.  Logan is the light of our lives!

We put all the animals in bed while Logan pretended to be the little boy. Bennett just snacked.  He's a snacker, what can I say.

I was instructed to "take a picture like I'm sleeping with all my animals".  Told you he was a cheeser!

Can't wait to see what's in store for Logan.  He's a very special boy!

The Baby is a Toddler

Bennett turned 18 months on December 5th!  I almost don't want to believe that our "baby" is officially a toddler!  Today, we had Bennett's 18 months appointment and enjoyed learning Benny's stats and asking our pediatrician some questions.  Thinking back to one year ago, we remembered our worries about Bennett's shivers and going through the neuro exams.  We are blessed to have this healthy little boy.

Bennett is 23 lbs, 15 ounces (22%) and 34 inches (88%).  If you'd like to compare that to Logan's 18 month stats: Logan was 28 lbs, 14 ounces (80%) and 34 inches (88-90%).  Big boys!

Bennett's verbal and physical abilities are developing great.  We estimate he has about 45-50 "words" now and understand everything we say.  He and Logan do a great job communicating and Logan takes great care (sometimes) for Bennett.  Much different than Logan, Bennett throws a goos tantrum for Mom and Dad several times a week.  We are in the process of trying to set boundaries to help deal with the tantrums. Dr. Gilmartin had great recommendations for us.  It hasn't taken us long to learn that Bennett reserves those  tantrums for his parents - never for babysitters or grandparents!

For the most part, the Bennett we know is cuddly, lovey, and smiley.  He loves to giggle and play - especially with Big Brother Logan.  Some of Bennett's favorite things are: play food, hockey, any game with a ball, trains, and books.  Just like Logan, Bennett loves music and loves to dance.  We have some pretty crazy dance parties around here (I'm not taking any credit for their moves...).  Bennett loves to climb anything - literally anything.  Nothing can keep Bennett from keeping up with Logan.  In fact, Bennett gets really sad when Logan gets to do something with John (or me) or something like skating lessons that Bennett isn't old enough for yet.

Bennett loves to read.  He loves to snuggle up and read a book with us, or try to read to us.  He also likes to sing "Old Mac Donald" and "Happy Birthday".  Some of the phrases we hear most from Bennett are: "All done", "Help please", "Love you", "This", and our personal favorite: "No".  Haha.

We have been reminded this fall of the blessings we have and that includes our boys - all challenges aside, there is nothing better than being a parent and experiencing the love we feel for our children.  Even more amazing has been the love we can see between the boys...

We are blessed to have brothers in this house!

Logan's 3 Year Stats

We finally saw Dr. Gilmartin for Logan's 3 year check up.  He is still in the 98th percentile for both height and weight at 40 lbs and over 40 inches!  Logan is so healthy and is developing so perfectly - we are thankful for that every day.  His imagination is on fire these days, telling stories, playing pretend, and loving books more than ever.  One of our friends, Nic, said Logan is "3 going on 15" because of his speech patterns...he loves to use idomatic expressions that he has picked up and is great at joking around with just about anyone.  It amazing how quickly children develop so many skills.  Logan is becoming great at picking up his toys, doing the potty all by himself, helping Bennett with his shoes, hat, and jacket, cutting his food, and recognizing his name and other letters/numbers.  I can't wait to see what this year brings!

Being 3 is so awesome!

All About Bennett

We have another bookworm at this house.  Bennett's favorite thing is to read!  Logan loved books as a tiny baby, but Bennett has recently become more of a bookworm.  He often sits and looks quietly through books - especially in the mornings and before afternoon naptime.  Remember this post of Logan as a baby?

Bennett is 15 months and he has changed so much!  He really is now a little boy, not a baby.  Its hard for me to even remember that last year at this time, he was only 4 months old.

Bennett has many words!  He says
"nigh-nigh" - he waves his hand and says "nigh-nigh"!
"up"
"mommy"
"daddy"
"water" - he's still not a big fan of milk, but likes to take big drinks of water!
"this" - he loves to point and say "this" when he wants something!
"a-done" - means "all done" at meal time
"ma" - means "more" and is usually accompanied by sign language

Bennett also like to shake and nod his head to answer "no" and "yes".

Bennett eats and drink like a big kid.  He is one hungry, thirsty kid.  He eats more than Logan and always takes such big drinks that he's out of breath when he is finished.  While Logan was a pretty clean eater, Bennett is a mess.  Food is always all over him, the floor, his chair, and everywhere else.

Bennett is super stubborn and opinionated.  He knows what he wants and will not give up!  We realize we could be in for some crazy times with Bennett!  I think he will challenge us more than Logan has....but I could soon eat my words, right?

Bennett does his best to keep up with Logan at all costs.  This has resulted in lots of bumps and bruises!  For the most part, the two play well together and love being together!

Bennett runs everywhere - or at least walks as fast as his little legs will take him!  When he runs, he moves his arms so funny...its worth a video, if I can ever get one!

Bennett takes after Logan (or maybe Mom and Dad?) and love to dance!  He has some moves that I surely can't take credit for!  This is also worth a video...and I have one, but I can't ever get it to load on the blog.

Bennett is the sweetest little boy (when he wants to be) and he is just to irresistable with his long curly locks (need to be trimmed again soon!) and his big blue eyes.  He loves to give hugs and kisses on command.  He runs to John as soon as he gets home from work.  He loves to rock in the rocking chair and snuggle into our shoulders.  He is super cuddly when he wants to be (just like his older brother!).

Bennett sure is one cute kid.  We love Bennett...what a special boy!

9 Months!

Its true!  Bennett is 9 months old TODAY!  What an amazing milestone.  When I held Bennett as a newborn, nine months seemed so far away...so old...so grown up.  Here we are!  There is a part of me that is not ready for Bennett to be just three short months away from his first birthday.  I feel like the days pass so quickly without the time to really soak in all of his growing and changing.  I certainly do my best, but maybe I would fall short no matter what.  I know it will be a while until we have another small baby in this house, so I cherish Bennett's "babyness" so much!

Bennett is mesmerized by John's toothbrush, so John always lets B help him!

While I may feel that he's growing up too fast, I am joyful that is is healthy and strong.  Bennett is perfect.  He's a perfect little boy who smiles all the time, has an adorable contagious giggle, and loves to talk!  Bennett favorite sound right now is "Ma".  I like to think he is saying "Mama", but I know he hasn't deciphered that yet.  Bennett eats babyfood and just in the last week has really started to enjoy it and want more, more, more!  His favorites are bananas, sweet potatoes, and squash.  We play with a sippy cup of water, but he doesn't seem to care much about drinking anything out of it.

Bennett started crawling two weeks ago and prefers to "army crawl", pulling himself along with his arms.  He does like to get up on his knees, but doesn't really crawl on all fours yet.  He also shows a lot of interest in pulling himself up, but hasn't quite got the strength to do it yet.  Bennett's mobility has started to cause some trouble with sharing toys, but I know its just the beginning.  We have lots of lessons to learn in this house!  However, Bennett and Logan still do have a great bond and love playing together (sometimes).  Logan can make Bennett laugh harder than anyone else - that is so fun to see!

Finally, around 7 months, I got Bennett on a better schedule of two naps (one short morning nap around 10 am and one long afternoon nap around 1 pm) and a decent bedtime of 7:30 pm.  Life has been much better since I decided to be disciplined enough to give Bennett a better routine.  He has even started sleeping through the night again!  Yahoo!

Bennett has 8 teeth - all four front top and bottom teeth were in by 8 months (just like his big brother!).  He is working on getting his eye teeth now.  Those teeth are really painful, I can remember from Logan's teething days.  I think they take a long time to come in, too...hopefully it won't be too eventful.

I got to spend some special time with Bennett today because John took Logan on a road trip for the afternoon/evening to see Eau Claire Memorial High School play in the state hockey tournament.  Bennett and I ran a couple errands, looked at lots of books, had a nap, and even played with Logan's train (shhhh...don't tell Logan!) that Bennett has been dying to touch.  What a blessing our little boys are!  I'll update on Monday after Bennett's 9 month appointment with our pediatrician - can't wait to see those stats!

Here's Bennett and I just hanging out, doing some chores around the house while B enjoys his Baby Mum-mum cracker!  I've been using my sling quite a bit again.  Bennett is a cuddler, so he likes to be snuggled in the sling better than in the Baby Bjorn.  So fun!

Brrrrrr...almost 8 months

We sure do have to be bundled up to go out these days!  We're in the midst of a cold snap with temps often below zero.  But, that hasn't stopped us from getting out.  Some of our outings this week included Tot Spot (while I grocery shopped), Sports Center, SAMmys, playgroup, Mom's group, and the mall.  We had a really busy, really great week!  The boys are growing so much each day, I am always anxious to see what the day will bring!

Bennett is almost 8 months!  He will be exactly 8 months on February 5th.  Its amazing to me how quickly the time has passed and that soon we will be counting down to his first birthday.  Bennett is soooo smiley and soooo chatty!  He has many sounds now like, "goo", "da", "baaaa" and some others.  He is always sure that we can hear him, even amongst his big brother!  Bennett also is close to crawling now.  Bennett likes to play with whatever toys Logan is playing with (and vice versa), so we are learning a lot about sharing these days.  He is starting to show preferences, some separation anxiety, object permanence, and is great at giving hugs and kisses.

By Christmas he was sitting up and rolling over like a pro and he now crawls every direction except forward, so I know that will come soon!  We took Bennett to the dr. last week and he was 19 lbs and 28.75 in!  Long and lean, for sure!  He is a strong little boy and likes to stand up as much as he can (no standing/pulling up on his own yet).

We still struggle a little with Bennett's sleep schedule but it is getting better.  I am continuing to work on a bedtime routine that will get him sleeping through the night again.  Bennett has started taking a bottle!  Just like Logan, Bennett decided at about 7 months that a bottle would be okay after all!  Its given me a little more freedom, so its a good change.  We're also still trying lots of new fruits and vegetables and eating cereal.  I can tell Bennett is ready for more as soon as we've covered the basics!  He loves to eat!

It wouldn't be too uncommon to say that Mom is baby's "favorite" person.  Well, I think I can honestly say that Logan is Bennett's "favorite".  Bennett beams when he sees Logan in the morning, after naps, after school, or anytime he has been missing him.  Logan is awesome and loves to sing, dance, and read to Bennett.  Logan recently has started reaching across the back seat in the car and holding Bennett's hand...all the while melting my heart!  Having two kids is so cool: watching the bond forming between brothers is one of my favorite parts!

So many milestones and so many more to come!

Bennett's Big Week of "Firsts"

Before Thanksgiving, Bennett had a big week full of "firsts"!  He had his first cereal, his first time in the highchair, and his first time in the jumperoo.  It was a week packed with fun as we watched him explore each new experience.  As a 5 month old, Bennett has perfected his hand-eye coordination, gotten 4 teeth total (two top, two bottom), started sitting up for short amounts of time, rolling over (back to front, front to back), and grown into quite a little boy!  Its been busy around here!  Sorry these are getting posted so late, but enjoy!

"See, Benny, just like this!"  Logan kept saying, "Don't feed him!"  We're not sure why...

"I'm #1!"

Bennett just couldn't get enough...he LOVES rice cereal!

So much fun!

Bennett just seems so old to me when he sits in the high chair.  I can't believe my baby is this big!

Logan has more fun than Bennett exploring all the toys that are coming back out of storage.  Bennett has the "advantage" of his older brother showing him how everything works!  B just loves the jumperoo and is content to bounce and play for longer than Logan ever would.

I'm not sure Logan being under Bennett is the recommended use of this toy, but oh well.

"I have teeth!"

Bennett has two teeth (and more coming soon!).  I think the teeth have been through for about a month now.  It was about 3.5 months when the signs of teething were pretty obvious and shortly after, at about 4 months, the first two bottom teeth popped through.  Everyone remarks at how early it is, but to us, it just seems normal!  Logan got teeth early, too!  Click here to see a post about Logan's first tooth!

I was having a hard time getting a photo of the little teeth, but you can see them in the second photo.  Hey, desperate times call for desperate measures: blind your child in the mirror to get a photo of the little teeth.  Oh well...

Two Year Stats

Logan's two year pediatrician check up was on August 25th.  It confirmed in my head that Logan really is growing up.  He was weighed by stepping onto the scale for the first time and was measured by standing up against the wall.  Wow - what a change!  Logan weighs in at 34 lbs and measured 36.5 inches.  Rumor has it that you can predict a child's adult height by a certain formula using their height at two years old.  According to the formula on Babycenter, Logan will be 6'2" (I think it said there is a 90% rate of accuracy within 2").  So, we'll have to check back when Logan is like 18 or something (yikes!).

Logan is a perfectly healthy, perfectly developing two year old and we are so grateful for that!  Logan impressed Dr. Gilmartin with his language development.  John and I often think Logan is really advanced in his formation of sentences and retention of new words and our pediatrician agreed.  Some of our favorite sentences so far:

- "I wanna go to the park, play with the kids."

- "Mommy, I like this Elmo shirt" (Logan said at 23 months while looking in the mirror at his shirt, hand on his hip!)

- "I wanna have a little cart at the grocery store."

- "I would like more grapes, please"

- "Benn-en has poopy diaper, Mommy - pe-ewwwwww!"

- "That airplane goes to the airport"

Some other, shorter but more common favorites:

- "Come 'ere once, Mama!"

- "I can't reach!"

- "Daddy helps you" (this actually means "Daddy help me")

- "Please", "Thank you", and "Bless you" (my personal favorite is when he says "Bless you, Benn-en!")

- "Look at this!"

- "Mama, watch you" (translation: "Mama, watch me!")

- "Do it myself" or "Go-nan do it" (Logan CAN prnounce the "L" in his name, but usually pronounces his name as "Go-nan")

Of course, Logan makes us laugh and melt each and everyday.  He's just so stinkin' cute!  He definately is TWO going on TEN!  Oh, we're in for a wild ride and we can't wait!

Our 20 month old

Logan is 20 months old - we cannot believe it! He is such a little man, changing so much, learning so much, and really growing up! Logan has been sleeping in his big bed for over a month and is doing great. On certain nights, he struggles more to stay asleep and stay in his bed, but for the most part, he's doing a great job adjusting!

Some of Logan's favorite things:

Puppers - he loves to nurture and care for his stuffed animals.
Music - he loves to sing, dance, and play music. Logan even sings "Twinkle, Twinkle" and "Ring Around the Rosie"
Puzzles - he can put them together faster than me and is quickly learning colors and shapes from working on his puzzles.
Bikes - Logan is obsessed with bikes and loves to ride! He can sometimes pedal himself a couple feet on his little trike from Baggie and Bopbop.
Yogurt - this continues to be Logan's favorite food! A few new things he also likes are: cereal with milk, noodles, and fruit snacks.
Playing outside - once we're out, its a battle to come inside! Being outside is the BEST!
Other kids - Logan has really started to enjoy seeing other kids and has started playing and interacting more with them on his own. Its been really fun to watch at Playgoup and Bible Study.
Talking - he talks all the time and we can mostly understand what he is saying. He has started to put words together, so that is exciting, too!
Reading - Logan still really loves to read books and has started to take charge and try reading them to us (and his animals, of course!).

Some of our favorite things about Logan at this stage:

Love - he says "love" and gives us hugs ("ug") at the most random times. He still loves to cuddle and we are enjoying every minute because we know it wont last forever.
Saying prayers - Logan makes sure we don't forget to pray before meals and bedtime. He folds his hands and says "Thank you, Jesus. Amen" ("sank-ooo, Deesoos"). Its the cutest thing!
Bedtime - he really loves his routine at bedtime: bath, pjs, brush teeth, drink water, books, lights-out. Since he's in his big bed now, we love the snuggle time before leaving the room.
Talking - its so fun to figure out all the new words Logan says. Thank you, please, you're welcome, and bless you are so cute to hear come out of your toddler's mouth! Love it!
