Seriously. Chipotle is in Eau Claire. Its about time! Since we moved here over 6 years ago, John has been on an endless campaign to bring Chipotle to Eau Claire. Its included Facebook groups, talking to Chipotle Regional offices, and so when we heard Chipotle was really coming John became the unofficial ambassador for Chipotle in Eau Claire. Needless to say, we scored a family invite to their VIP opening where we enjoyed lots of free Chipotle!

John, of course, loves burritos. I mean no one loves them more than him. No one in the world.

Well, that was the VIP event, so when the store actually opened: only a couple days before John's birthday, I knew we had to make an event of it! So we braved the cold and the crowds with some friends and left the kids at home with a babysitter.
Yep. The line was seriously long! But we didn't really care. Our good friends stuck it out with us and then enjoyed some birthday dessert in honor of John (aka Mr. Chipotle)'s birthday at our house.
