Remember when we picked out our Christmas Tree in advance this year?! Yay for us! This weekend got to go cut it down! It was chilly, but not too bad. We all bundled up and took the wagon out to the field at Lowes Creek Tree Farm.
Logan looks thrilled.
Benny insisted on having the brim of his stocking hat folded down. :)
Eden was just plain cute!
We had fun being silly.
We borrowed a saw from the tree farm and it was not up to John's standards. It was dull and it took him a long time to cut down the tree. Next year we will be bringing our own saw! But there it is in all its glory...the tree!!
Then we waited for the wagon to pick us up again and even met some friends riding along too.
The tree farm adds new features every year, this year there was cider, a bonfire, and a little snack shop outside, so we enjoyed that for a bit.
The boys had cider...a new thing for them!
It was a little tragic when we spilled on our hands and clothes, but we made it through and enjoyed some time by the fire while our tree was packed up.
Another great tree from the farm! Looking forward to the holidays this year!
