Start of School!

Woohoo!  The boys started school today!  We've been waiting for this BIG day and getting ready for a week.  We had school meetings and Logan had a couple visit days, so we were super excited!  Logan is entering 4K (half-day Kindergarten) at the Montessori in Eau Claire.  We are lucky to have a Montessori charter school here and Logan was lucky to get a spot!  Bennett starts his first year of preschool at Noah's Ark, where Logan also went.  Last year, Bennett went to Camp Come & Play for a couple hours on Wednesdays, but this year, he gets to go Tues and Thurs afternoons for a couple hours - and in the big preschool room.  He has Mrs. Lien - we are so excited for a great year for him at Noah's Ark!

The boys were up and excited - awake, dressed, and in great moods.

LOGAN'S FIRST DAY OF 4K!

Oh man, these little guys melt my heart!  They are so cute.  What fun kids - always so excited for the next thing.  They couldn't have been cuter.

BENNETT'S FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL!!

Woohoo!

Dad gets to take Logan to school in the mornings for drop off, so that is pretty awesome.

Seriously couldn't be more excited!

Mom: "How was school?"

Logan: "Awesome!"

Mom: "Great! What was the best part?"

Logan: "Everthing! I can't wait to go back.  I want to stay all day and have lunch with my friends!"

Mom: (holding back tears) "Next year, buddy...when you are six!"

Bennett loved school, too!  He was super excited to meet new friends and be in class in the cool school room.  I am so proud of Benny and he is growing up so fast lately.

I will admit that I shed a few tears - realizing that my time at home with Logan is so short now.  I am so glad to have this year, spending afternoons with him before he goes to full Kindergarten next year.  We are going to make the most of it.  I'm also feeling so blessed for the great schools we have - its going to be a (busy) great year!
