Unlike our usual Christmas tree search, this year we were ON THE BALL! It was a beautiful day on Saturday so we took the chance to drive out to the tree farm and select our tree from the fields. We will go cut it down after Thanksgiving.

We had fun running in the fields on this 63 degree day!
Until we got all full of Sand Burrs, that is!
The boys were covered in burrs and started to kind freak out so John hauled them back to the van like this...

Lucky for me, I was wearing tall boots and they didn't stick to me.
We loved the warm fresh air on a beautiful fall day!!
And there she is: our Christmas tree! We'll be back in a couple weeks!
