What's New?

I have to apologize a little to all the blog-followers for a lack of updates lately. Its not that there is nothing new or nothing going on...its just that there is SO MUCH that is new and SO MUCH that is going on that I rarely find time to sit and upload pictures. Logan is keeping us quite busy, he is so interested in everything, trying so many new things, and always on the "run". Besides that, we are gearing up with Young Life for this fall, new moms groups, bibles studies and so much more! Its an exciting time of year for us as new activities begin and we embark on our 3rd year in Eau Claire.

Last weekend was Leadership Weekend at Castaway Club in Detroit Lakes, MN. John took all the leaders from EC for a weekend of training, fun, and fellowship. Logan and I stayed back, not feeling up for the trip after such a busy summer. It was a little sad to miss out, I've been at leadership weekend for the last 8 years. They had a great time and we are anxious to see what this year will bring!

Logan and I spent some time in Stillwater over the weekend while John was away. I had some shopping to do and a few errands to run and Logan got to have some fun with Papa and Nana! the weather was so great so we were sure to enjoy it with a trip to Teddy Bear Park, walking around downtown, and eating out on the patio of a new restaurant there. It was great! We travel back to Stillwater this week for the big event: Kyle and Ali's wedding! So exciting! We can't wait!

I can't quite get Logan to understand that the slides are for going DOWN, not UP! He loves to climb anything and it quite determined.
