Today is the day! Eden is TWO! Wow, that is gonna take a while to set in...we remember the year she was born, it was so HOT in March...we brought her home to 90 degrees! That was crazy and so much fun! This year, its been the coldest winter with tons of snow! Eden is pure joy (and sass, and drama, and attitude - everything a two year old girl should be!).
We woke up and the boys wanted Eden to open their gifts right away!
She knew just what to do with her presents...
and she was actually more excited about the process of opening the gifts than what was really in the gifts.
Nana came over mid-morning to help us celebrate Eden's special day!
Nana made a diaper bag for Eden and some blankies for her babies.
"Thank-oooo Nana!"
She got right into playing with all her new baby stuff.
Nana and her girl!
And another because we have to have one with Eden's signature smile.
We enjoyed lunch at Down to Earth and even John was able to meet us. Then we picked Logan up from school and had a little afternoon tea party with some apple juice and birthday cake oreos. Eden got her new tea set from Nana. The boys were just as excited about the tea party as Eden...pouring their own "tea" was a hit. They were all slamming apple juice so they could pour more!
Nana had time for a little more playtime before she had to head home.
That's a full lap for Nana!!
and I even snagged a photo with the birthday girl!
Eden knew it was her day...I don't think she really understood that its her birthday that comes only once a year, but she definitely knew it was extra special for her today.
Did I mention we have a little attitude going on?
I made some fun decorations for our pancake party.
And I used my no-skill baking to making this #2 cake.
Daddy showing Eden a video of her saying "I'm four" at lunch today! She still is pretty sure she is four.
Eden's favorite is pancakes...so we all had pancakes for dinner!
Yum!
Lighting those two candles...
She was a little skeptical of the candles, but she blew them out no problem!
And the cake was a hit!
I think she mostly ate the frosting.
Eden had some more presents to open from us and from family.
The boys were happy to help (or completely open them for her before she could get to them!).
And by the end of the night, we had a butterfly in our house! Eden : Happy Birthday sweet girl! We love you!
