Today was Logan's first day of "preschool"! It was pretty exciting around here. Ever since I was able to get him registered at the beginning of December (he is just now old enough for the program at 27 months), Logan has been talking about going to "preschool". Its called Camp Come & Play and it's just one afternoon each week at a local church. We think it will be a great precursor to the real preschool next fall!
We had an early lunch and while Nana watched Bennett, we packed up and headed to school. Logan was so excited waiting for his teachers that he and his classmates were running the the halls and playing hide-and-seek. He got to meet lots of new friends in his class of 9. The boys and I had stopped by yesterday to drop off some paperwork and we got the chance to meet his teachers...they remembered his name when we saw them today, so I was pretty impressed. Logan was saying, "Hi, I'm Logan" to his friends and teachers. It was so cute! He really couldn't wait to get in the room and play so once I got him signed in and we got his backpack in his cubby, he was off to play without a second look.
Logan painted, played, sang songs, had a snack and an all around great time! Over the course of the evening, he also told me about playing play-doh, praying before his snack, and stories with Mrs. Knickerboker. So cute! He was so excited to tell everyone we saw yesterday afternoon that he had been to preschool. I think this is the start of something great! Thanks to Papa and Nana for the scholarship! :)
Way to go Logan!
