The Packing Process

Our house sold in August, but we just got a "SOLD" sign this week - about a month later!  The boys were excited to see the change in the signage.  Logan says often, "Why are we sale-ing this house?"  We explain that we will live in a new house and take all our things with us.  Someone else will live in this house after we leave.  He has mixed reactions about leaving the house, but seems to understand.  He tell people all the time, "Did you know we are sale-ing our house?"

The house is slowly getting packed up.  The process seems endless.  Having moved into this house with no kids makes moving out a whole new ballgame!  The kids like to help pack (i.e. they like to throw things in boxes).  John packed up the whole garage and I've packed most of the house.  We've also had great help from friends who have been willing to come over and help us!

Even with most of the toys packed up (the boys got to choose a few to keep accessible through the move), the boys have been busy playing.  All the extra space from the items that have been moved out into the garage makes for great running space!

Living amongst the boxes has gotten a little difficult but now we're counting down!

We've had such a great weather, so while I've neglected to pack many days, its because we'd so much rather have fun outside!
The boys have taken to tackling and wrestling each other...I guess I better get used to that with these two boys!
