Eiselt Christmas in Stillwater 2014

This was a special year!  All of the Eiselt family was together for Christmas in Bob and Deb's newly remodeled home and with new Baby Nora!  Scott and Jess traveled with Nora from Greenville and Jenny and Mike traveled from Charlotte so we could all be together!  We headed over after our own festivities on Christmas morning and made it in time for a delicious lunch all together.
The kids were excited to be with all their aunts and uncles...its been so long since we were all together!

Bennett went straight to the tree...checking it out...

And the kid were so excited to meet Nora!  We have talked about Baby Nora a lot (their first cousin!) and we have Facetimed with her a few times, but all the kids couldn't wait to meet her!  Logan was especially smitten.

Nora is so adorable...you can't help but instantly love her!  Logan was a big help...showing Nora what's in her stocking.  :)  We opened LOTS and LOTS of gifts after lunch and it was so fun!

Eden loved all the treasures she found in her stocking at Baggie's house...

And the kids were so spoiled with such fun gifts!

It was busy and chaotic and fun...I think holidays are perfect for that kind of chaos.  It was so fun it made me want to spend every Christmas Day with family (rather than reserving it for a quiet day at home) - it just feel so much more festive to be together.  And, we are lucky to be close enough to make the drive over for holidays.

Eden showing off her cozy bathrobe.  Perfect for a girl who likes to run around in just a diaper!

What can I say?  John is responsible for these shirts.  And...I debated whether to post these photos.  Take these with a grain of salt...they are just for fun.  :)

Logan got a learner chess game and was busy challenging everyone to a game over the couple days we stayed.  Mike is such a trooper.  The kids flock to him and he gladly plays with them and let them climb on him all day.  Thanks to Mike for enduring the kids and genuinely enjoying them so much!

Mike and Jenn got some Lego sets for the kids which was perfect because it kept them busy building and gave them something to work on after gifts were all opened.  Bennett especially loves Legos this year.

Eden worked on some new playdoh creations...

With some help.  :)

Eden liked Nora and was interested in her a little bit.  It was fun to see her response to a baby.  She had a couple faux-pas (like pulling Nora over on her face trying to hold her = me as a mortified mama) but mostly she did good keeping her distance and loving on Nora.  Eden especially loved finding toys and bringing them to Nora.

Its so fun for everyone to have a baby around again!

Uncle John getting some baby time.

Bennett loved him some tv and snack time.  Let's be honest: we all did.  Relaxing is the best!  The new floor plan and layout really helped us all be together and relax.  It was so much fun!  The kids got the Snackee cups they have been begging for and so they could have their snack and water in one hand.  One. Hand.  ;)

Eden was full throttle the whole holiday so it was no surprise when she fell asleep on Baggie's lap after a busy day!  It was perfect.  No body get sot hold Eden, she is far too busy on the go all day.  Baggie enjoyed the snuggles.

Finally on the 27th we woke up to a beautiful perfect snow!  Scott and Jess left too early to enjoy the fun, but we had the BEST time in the snow!  It was just perfect.

John was out shoveling and Eden was the first to be out to help him.

These old shovels are the cutest.

Bennett and Logan came out and soon were sledding down the driveway.

Eden had no reservations about sledding just like the boys.  Down the steep hill?  Sure.  Head first?  Yep.

Bob came home with more sleds and then we had everyone going down the hill - Uncle Mike, of course!  I had put my camera away by then, but there were some hilarious Kodak moments I missed.  :)

Thanks to all the Eiselts for a beautiful holiday!  It was so much fun!

Christmas Morning 2014

The kids were excited to run down the stairs this morning at 6:30!  They found their stocking, filled to the brim, at the base of the stairs.  While mom and dad got some coffee, they patiently waited...

There were a few things they found unwrapped in their stockings...

And then we noticed:

The doorway to the playroom was wrapped!

And had two more big wrapped presents inside.

Santa brought a tv with a Wii for the boys!

And a new kitchen for Eden!

After the excitement, we headed back to the living room to open stocking gifts and a couple other presents from mom and dad.

Bennett always loves Legos.

We signed Logan up for flag football and he was SO EXCITED!

After opening a couple gifts, we played a little Wii and the kitchen, had some monkey rolls for breakfast, and then packed up to head out to family Christmas at the Eiselts!
