Preschool coming to an end...

This year has been busy.  Its a combination of the ages of kids, the times of drop offs/pickups from schools, and the number of bottoms I have to wipe.  Yep, its an actual mathematical equation!  haha!
Its been a good year, but busy and I'm looking forward to a summer that ISN'T full of activities!  Yay!  Benny will be the first one done with his class ending next week.

In the morning while Logan is at school, Eden naps and Benny and I enjoy some one on one time.  It was difficult with him for most of the year, but it was all worth it because now, he is a joy and we love our time together building, coloring, creating.

These two characters: Logan and Eden!  They are WILD when we drop off and pick up Bennett!!  They are crazy running around getting into everything.  I'm THAT MOM with the crazy kids in the preschool.  Oh boy.

Bennett loves to get to school FIRST so that he is first in line at the door and the first one in the room!!
A far cry from a few months, even just a few weeks ago when he cried and protested school almost every time.

Silly Benny was teasing me...

He has grown so much and he is getting so big.  I'm the proudest Mom!

Usually we bust out of the car and spend time outside where the kids are equally as crazy.  Its gonna be a BUSY summer outside!  I can't wait!

Eden is "here one minute, gone the next".  Except its more like seconds - she is crazy fast...RUNNING.  Actually really running!  And jumping!  A 14 month old!!  Lord help me!  She is super fun and so sweet but she has her own ideas of what she wants to do and how she wants to do them.  Another strong willed child on my hands here.  :)

Then she sits.  But just for a moment.  Don't blink!!

Early Morning Mow

Eden wakes up early these days and wants to head outside first thing.
So...this morning she took on an outdoor chore.  :)

Big Ouch!

Poor Eden is all snuggles with her big bump on her head.  Daddy was home Friday morning when she hit her head on the wood floor with a thump!
It left a BIG bruise and goose egg and gave me a snuggly girl when I got home.

Eden snuggles with three blankets and at least one stuffed animal.  Its a haul when you carry her to and from the crib!!  Silly girl!

Children's Farm 2013!

We are so excited for Bennett to have a parent-child class with us at the Children's Farm in Stillwater this summer!  We'll be going Friday mornings mid June-mid July and we can't wait!  This weekend was family day at the farm, so we were sure to make the trip and meet Nana and Papa at the farm, too!
Baby chicks are always a favorite!

One of the teachers, Chelsea helped us refresh our memories on how to feed the animals.  Benny did great!

Eden hung out with Daddy.

I, of course, was wearing very farm-appropriate footwear: glitter TOMS.  Hmmmm....

Pumping and water the animals.

Bennett was super excited to see that there were baby bunnies this year!

Brave boy trying the zip line!

Bennett is my superhero.  He is doing so well lately - really growing up and really learning to harness some of his emotions.

Logan jumped on the zip line next!

Logan showed Bennett all over the farm.  We thought Logan probably could have stayed to give tours - he has so much energy and so much to say!

We got to see Cinnamon and Bud.  No more Gertie.

Eden liked the lambs!

How many Eiselts fit inside a chicken coop?

Benny also really loved the kitties.

Then Eden got to touch, too...

What a fun day together at the farm!

One last peek at the chicks before leaving.

We had a yummy dinner and bathtime at Nana and Papa's before driving home.  We love the Children's Farm!  Its just one thing we are looking forward to this summer!
