We are going to have to celebrate a belated Fathers Day around here since John was busy working in the yard all weekend and I was sick. But, the kids and I have worked on a few projects for Dad...

So-so
We're only feeling so-so around here this week. It seems everyone except John has some form of a cold we're passing around. I have an ear infection and I can tell Eden isn't feeling like herself. While all the boys are out today (John is on vacation), Eden and I are resting at home.

Crazy Days
Its been crazy days around here! The second week of June brought Logan's first summer camp: Camp Discovery. He loved all five days (9am-noon) of exploring, experiments, and relating it all back to God's creation. It was great! While Logan was busy that week, Bennett took a special trip to Nana and Papa's house for some special one-on-one time. We realized Benny has never made the trip to Stillwater alone the way Logan used to when he was Benny's age. It was super special and so nice of my parents to have Bennett. Eden and I enjoyed our mornings together while Logan was busy at camp and then Logan and I spent some quality time together in the afternoons and even a couple play dates with friends.
While I finished up a phone call, Logan took streamers and ran them all over the house...it was a lot of work to roll them back up!
My mom sent the pic of Bennett at her house - already napping one day at 10:30am. He was under the weather while he was there and not really himself. I was sad that his time there was plagued by a cold, but at least he got plenty of snuggles.
Logan, Eden and I packed up and went to meet Bennett at my parents when Logan was done with Camp Discovery. Daddy was working hard with our friend David on some landscaping, so we were better off being away from the yard for a couple days anyway.
We enjoyed Teddy Bear Park, the boys other favorite new park near my parents' house, and just relaxing.
We headed home on Sunday because Logan started his second summer camp (Sports Camp) on Monday morning. We were so happy to be home and see the progress John made on the yard. Unfortunately, I came home with an ear infection, so it was a rough start to the week!

"Little Miss"
All the boys in our house have nicknamed Eden "Little Miss" and "Sweet Girl". I think it started with John and caught on with the boys. Its very cute! Here are a few pictures from the week of Little Miss:
Tummy time isn't always her favorite, but sometimes she likes it. :)
Growing like a weed!
Fuzzy hair!
Bathtime is a favorite!
And just so everyone can see how much she really smiles...take a look!
"Mom, are you done making me laugh already?"
Ok - one more giggle!

Baby
Baby has been sleeping in her crib since the end of May. She does great in her special room we made for her!
In the mornings, she and I end up downstairs (thank goodness for programmable coffee makers!). Eden usually eats and then dozes back off while I sip coffee, watch the news, or work on the iPad. Its great time and I'm enjoying our little mornings together.

Yep, he did.
Benny has been wearing pull ups lately but this day, he wanted a diaper. Ok, whatever. Sometime in the 90 seconds it took me to change his diaper, he fell asleep...seriously.

Board and Batten Wall
This new house has come with a loooooooong "Honey-Do" list. John has been a great sport - not complaining even once when re-doing the kids' rooms. Eden's room was pretty involved, even disassembling and rebuilding the chandelier from my sister that I just had to use. When we extended the bamboo flooring into the entry (why that wasn't done when the rest of the house remodel was done by the previous owner...just one in a long list of "whys") I mentioned to John I'd like a board and batten wall in the entry. He quietly planned the project and finished it up perfectly!
The B & B and the new coat of paint really makes us feel like you are entering "our house", not just the old house we bought. :) We love it so much! Thanks, John for working hard on my awesome board and batten vision. Now if I could just get you to build the little benches...
