Bennett's Spring Party Program 2013

Preschool for Bennett this year has been full of ups and downs.  There are days he LOVES school and his friends and days that are filled with anxiety about going to school, leaving me, painting, friends, etc.  He has done so well with friends and school, but sometimes just has a hard time separating from me when its time.  So, its brought a lot of stressful, sad, tearful drop offs for both me and him.  However, we have stayed consistent, always going to school, taking our time with drop off when necessary.  His teacher Mrs Lien has done a wonderful job of helping me through the difficult days.  We love our preschool and the teachers and with some of the challenges this year, I felt how great it is that we are at Noah's Ark.  The kids have been practicing for their party program for a long time, so we were so excited for tonight!  All the grandparents were coming and I know Benny felt so special!

Me and Benny!

Eden couldn't sit still, of course...

Nana ended up in the back with Eden for the whole program.

There's Benny in the middle, in a bright blue shirt!

Bennett was awesome!  Singing and performing every song like a PRO!

John and I were beaming, giving thumbs up and so happy that Bennett enjoyed his special night so much!

The whole crew!!! Thanks to all the grandparents for making the trip for B's special night!

Spring has sprung!

We took to the park for two picnic lunches this week!  Hooray for spring FINALLY making its way to Wisconsin.  What a long winter.  What a lot of snow.  What a well deserved spring!

We walked all the way to the park with hockey gear so the boys could play on the basketball courts.  Logan always lasts longer than Benny with hockey, but it was fun!

Eden just loves to explore.  As long as she is able to walk/run around, she is happy!

The boys requested a picnic, so we were all packed up with yummy lunches.

Benny and Eden explored the playground while Logan continued with hockey.

Benny is getting so big - only one month until he is four!  FOUR!  Crazy!

My Boys

They are the best.  We were making the most of a couple quick errands today.  The boys are such buddies!  It will be so different next year when Logan is at school ALL DAY!!  Savoring these days.

Random Fun from April

Happy May Day!  We are SO ready for spring around here!  Can't wait to get outside and STAY outside!  Here is some random fun stuff we were up to in April!
Our children's museum in Eau Claire is so awesome.  Eden now loves playing in the Toddler Park!

And she climbs everything.  Here we were decorating for Easter.

We went to a little Easter activity at our grocery store.

Eden likes to play peek a boo...especially with Daddy!

Our friend Reese spent a couple more days with us and it was so fun!

It was snowy.  Again.  so, we made the most of it!

Kings of the snow mountain.

Besties.

We are silly.  On this day, we took a smiling pic and then we took a silly pic...look at Eden's face!!!  "Who are these crazy people?!"

We had an Easter playdate with friends and Benny fell in L.O.V.E. with "Buzz Wings".  We've been hearing about them forever...he can't stop talking about them.  Everyday he asks me if its his birthday so he can get Buzz Wings like Ty.

Cuties.

Eden and I enjoyed a girls' day while the boys had a getaway to my parents!

I made art from paint chips for the boys' room.  I love a creative moment - they don't come around too often.

Eden started to grow some curls!!  Her hair is growing in gloriously so far!  People ask me if we cut it into a bob because it looks great!  And, I will admit I'm happy to see those curls coming through.

I finished and sent Eden's birthday announcements out!

Easter in the most adorable dress (it was snowing outside!!!).

She's ready for her own turn at school.  Growing up too fast!

We had a sick day where the boys willingly laid in bed and watched movies - I could tell they were really sick when they didn't move all day.  Poor guys.  Bennett promoted himself to a shower-taker, which means Logan and Eden sometimes do a tub.

We ate at the Nucleus downtown for a friends baptism celebration!  Woohoo!  Our favorite breakfast place!

A picnic day with Reese at Noah's Ark before dropping Bennett off at school.  I loved having a full car of FOUR kids.  It was awesome.  But, I will save that for special days when a friend visits (it was a little crazy, too!).

Yahoo for April...bring it on, May!
