Silvermine Pond Hockey 2014

Today Logan participated in a fun pond hockey tournament!  A portion of his team participated and John coached.  It was really fun and John and I both thought "that's how hockey should really be played"!  It was casual, fast paced and fun.  And outdoor is just more interesting than in an arena.  Luckily the temps weren't too cold and the sun even came out for a bit.

After the tournament, we watched a little practice ski jumping at the Silvermine Invitational.

 Nice tournament Logan!

Kyle and Ali visit

Kyle and Ali visited us today for Logan's hockey game and lunch!  It was awesome to have them over!  Thanks so much to them for making the trip over and spending the day!

They even brought some special Packers football cookies all the way from Viking country!

Kickin' Kids!

We're back at Kickin' Kids!  This year Bennett is joining Logan on the trails and loving it!  We feel like this program is so awesome!  Eden is chomping at the bit to get into skiing, so this might become our fun winter family past time!

Happy New Year 2015

The kids and I took a trip to the Children's Museum today.  I was hoping they would have more fun crafts for us, but we mostly just played and enjoyed some time together.

And in the evening, we made up a movie night at home - one of the kids favorites!

We found a little elf downstairs after we put the kids to bed - she must've come down and fallen right to sleep!

Then we headed over to Holbrooks for a little holiday gathering with everyone since we weren't together over Christmas.  My parents remodel is done, so we got to enjoy their new kitchen and main floor set-up with the whole family.  And the biggest news of all: Amy and Andrew are having a BABY!  Hooray for new babies - theirs will join the family in June and we can't wait!
Eden and Bennett snuggling and watching some tv.

Girls lunch out to Punch!

Little Miss Energy/Smiles/Attitude...depends on the moment.

The men were doing some serious puzzle making...

And we all played some intense games of Tenzi...
