My Helper

Eden is such a sweetie!  She loves to help with anything.  Says Please and Thank You for everything.  She is feisty and challenging, but a total joy.  She is a blessing to us all!  She loves to push the mini carts at the grocery store so sometimes when we have just a few things to get, I bring her with to be my helper.  We had a specific list of items for Logan's snack week at school and when I couldn't find the melons elsewhere, we stopped on a special trip and Eden got to load her cart super full!
That's a lot of melon!  And the cutest little shopper!

The WILD Boys

This year the Minnesota Wild have done well and the boys have been following as much as they can.  John took the boys to Buffalo Wild Wings tonight to watch some of the game!!  What a bunch of handsome guys from this house!  Go WILD!

Who ate the Easter candy?

Hmm…Eden sure was quiet….

"Eden who ate all those chocolates?"
"Ummm….me"

Oh boy!  She went through hers and both the boys stash and ate all the chocolates…I'm excepting her to stay up until 2am tonight!  Yikes!

Easter 2014

Happy Easter!  He is Risen!  Thanks goodness we have such a loving and powerful God...we are so blessed!!  We woke up to some fun this morning!  Easter eggs all over and a hunt to find surprises along the way.  We also enjoyed bunny shaped cinnamon rolls and croissants!

Then we headed off to church!  When we got home, we had just enough time to get ready for Nana, Papa and Amy to arrive to enjoy the day together!  We prepped some stuff in the kitchen and on the table while the men hid eggs outside!

Amy made this cute bunny out of cupcakes!

Happy to see N & P!

Feeling festive!

More egg hunting...

And a photo of all three....

Well, that just how the photo taking goes!  Cuties!  Happy Easter to all!

Princess Sighting

Eden got this Sophia the First dress along with a few other accessories from Baggie and Bopbop for her birthday.  She was not interested in putting on the dress until this week!  She told me she wanted to wear it and sure enough: she even wore it around for a little while.
She came downstairs wearing her dress and the boys instantly said "Cuuuuuute Eden! You look so beautiful!"  I mean, really?  They are the sweetest brothers ever.

She was clearly having a ball!

Bennett's Imagination

Bennett is so creative and imaginative!  He always has the best ideas, project proposals, and stories.  Bennett's favorite thing is to play with his "guys" (any kind of superhero, character, or figurine) and create stories and cities.  This year Bennett is more of a homebody - loving time to play.

He built this digger from a Lowe's kit a while ago and today he decided it needed something "extra"! So he went ahead and found some special markers in the art cubbies at home and made his digger extra awesome!  Seriously - it looks so good and I am just so impressed with his mind and his ideas!  It was also an awesome day because I found this new superhero shirt for him...he was super excited about it!  Bennett teaches us so much everyday and we are lucky to be his family!

Logan's Art Showcase

This week we learned that a creation of Logan's from his art class at school would be in the all city art fair at the EC District Building.  We went out for a special dinner to celebrate a great week and then headed over to stroll through all the masterpieces and find Logan's!

The halls were so beautiful with all the kids' art work.

And we found Logan's!

He was proud!  Art isn't his favorite - he prefers gym (big shock?!) but I know he does work really hard in class, so it was fun to see his creation.  I think he has a portfolio coming home at the end of the year from art because while we see tons of "take-home-work" in his folder everyday, we do not see anything from art class.  This week, they made clay sculptures to be fired in the kiln, so that is pretty exciting!
