Today we had the chance to visit The Children's Farm as a family! The farm is open to family and guests one day for the season. When a child is in class, the same adult (just one adult per child) is supposed to visit the farm for each class. The consistency helps the children learn and keeps things moving along. But, since today was "open farm", we got to bring Daddy, Benny, Papa and Nana! And what a glorious day!
Logan ran the whole way down the path to the farm while the rest of us followed. He has been looking forward to showing "the whole family" his farm school. Its hard to describe, but Logan lights up when he is at the farm and it was so fun for the rest of the family to see...
Such a beautiful day on the farm!

On the playground.
We ended our day with a visit to the farm classroom where Logan played with the toy animals and saw the 10-day-old baby chicks who were keeping warm indoor.
At the end of each class, each child gets to ring the bell!
What a fun day at the farm! I've been patiently waiting to show this unique place to John - its so hard to describe, but the reality didn't disappoint! We are all amazed at Logan's love for the farm and his confidence about himself when he is there. What a great experience!
