Minnesota...here we come!

Its true!  We will be heading back across the boarder to the Land of 10,000 Lakes early this summer!  John has accepted a position at Five Oaks Church as their Family & Discipleship Pastor.  He is so excited to begin his new role, but we are all sad to leave Eau Claire.  This community, church, school, friends, and house are all things we love and never wanted to leave...but God opened some doors and we felt a strong leading to this new adventure.  The kids will finish school here on June 3rd and we will hope to move sometime later in June.  John begins work at Five Oaks in May, so we are thankful he is able to commute to work for now so we can wrap up life here in the lovely EC!

Happy Easter!

Well, HAPPY EASTER!  The kids are obsessed with the Easter Story this year.  Eden insists on reading it out of her bible every. single. night.!  This is how a quick photo op went this morning:

Eden's Puppy Birthday Party!

Eden has really been wanting a birthday party and waiting all year for it, so I knew we wanted to do something for her.  I decided on a post-preschool lunch and invited the whole class and their parents.  It was perfect timing because school ends at 11:30 and I just invited everyone over for a casual lunch and treats!  It was a weekday, so my parents were able to make it and join in the fun.

The kids enjoyed their dog bone shaped sandwiches and other puppy themed foods!

Me and my birthday girl!

Everyone got a little stuffed puppy and then we did some fun little activities/crafts for it.

And Eden was showered with such nice (and unnecessary!) gifts from her classmates.

Lots of puppy stuff - her friends know her so well!

Noah's Ark Pancake Supper 2016

We invited all the grandparents to the pancake supper!  Everyone came!  Its our last one!  Woohoo!
Eden was excited to show off her artwork :)

And all the kids enjoyed the activities.  Ironically, now that we are done with these somewhat chaotic events just as its getting more manageable with the kids' ages.

Eden LOVED the oranges!  MMMMM!
