Leadership Weekend at Castaway

We went to Young Life's Castaway Club this weekend with our volunteer leaders.

Of course we took Logan along and he did great!!!
He slept a lot and broke a lot of hearts with his devastating good looks

Logan is truly a blessing from God in our lives.
We marvel at God's creation every time we look at him,
and are so thankful for this incredible gift.

Logan has had his eyes open a lot more lately. He looks around and studies our faces and the other objects around him. Plus it makes for some pretty cute pictures.

The "boppy" is the 'U' shaped pillow that he's sitting in.
Whoever invented this thing is a genius. We use it all the time!!!

We weren't sure if he would follow it when we put it in front of him but he totally locked onto it

Breakin' out the Baby Bjorn

So...there's this baby contraption called "The Baby Bjorn" (say: B-yorn) (dad says B-Jorn)

I guess it's European or something, but it's pretty cool cause you wear this harness and it totally holds the baby to your chest. Logan seems to love cause every time we put him in it, he sleeps.
Wait...come to think of it he sleeps no matter what we do.

It's the least I can do when I get to sleep while Jill gets up in the middle of the night with Logan.

We thought we'd be brave and head out to church last Sunday and it actually went very well.

Logan sat like this pretty much the whole time. It was hillarious.
Not that we expected him to actually pay attention, but amidst a row full of other screaming babies we were proud that ours....well....slept with is mouth open.
We call it The Baby Praise, and we prefer it over The Baby Scream!!!
