Big Smiles

Logan has started to reveal his smile more and more. It's so fun to watch him smile.

Mom is the best at provoking smiles out of Logan
Here he is reading with Mom and Smilin' at his Elmo book

I can't get over how big this smile is. So cute.
It's really fun for Dad to bond with Logan as he begins to make faces and react with smiles.

A weekend in Stillwater

We stayed with Eiselt G-rents this weekend in Stillwater.
We had a great time relaxing and watching the Logan Show all weekend.

aahh yes, the joys of fatherhood or should I say the life of a pack-mule

Dad and Grandpa hanging out with Logan

Grandpa playing with Logan, and Grandma holding Mr. Sleepy

Mom is such a good entertainer.
Logan's face lights up when he sees or hears her.

"Zoey" aka "Kujo" the fearless Cocker Spaniel standing watch
trying to figure out what this wiggly thing is.

Visiting Grandma at work at Lakeview Hospital.
Grandma was proud to show off her new Grandson.

Story-time with Grandma

Logan's theme song is Johnny Cash's "I've been everywhere man"
He loves his little space capsule...most of the time.

Obviously we had to stop at Nelson's for some good ol ice cream. Yum!!!

Sucking my thumb

Logan has learned to suck his thumb.
Well mostly he just slobbers on his fist and occasionally finds his thumb.
Doesn't really matter to us, as long as he seems to like it.

aahhh yes, just chillaxin in my lazy-boy-bouncer, sucking on my thumb

yum

we've switched from the suck into a full blown lick.

Life is good

Ballad of the sun hat

Jill was trying out Logan's sun hat. I thought maybe it was a frisbee or something.
Maybe I could invent that, a child's hat that turns into a frisbee, and maybe even a water dish for your dog. Well you heard it here first.
Anyway here's Logan and his sun hat

Logan's not so sure why he has a frisbee-dog dish on his head

G'Day mate!!!

We want our money back...this sun hat is broken

"Get this thing off my head!!!"

Logan's faces

Logan has started to smile a lot.
He teases us with half smiles as we sit a stare waiting for that big gaping grin.
making noise

there's a little smile!!!
